Secure Credit Card
Transaction Explanation

When you send your credit card number over the web with Netscape 4.0 and above or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and above, you're using a method of encryption or security called Secure Sockets Layer security.  This is now the standard for secure online transactions.

Technical Description

When your internet browser communicates with Bootamerica.com's transaction server, an encrypted digital ID and address of the server is sent.  Then, when you send any data from your browser, a program called a certificate authorizes that digital encrypted ID that was sent and verifies a secure connection between your browser and the server.
